A Chinese provers says "Every mission must begin with a single email"

Olá a todos!

And so it begins! I am about a week and a half into the home MTC online training and it has been great! I think it makes so much sense and made the transition to missionary life so much easier.

I’ve got classes from 9-5 everyday so it's basically a full time job, but I’m so glad that I’ve been busy cause it gets so boring when I have nothing to do.

But after I’m done with my classes in the evening I get to spend a lot of time with my family playing card games and watching Disney movies which has been so fun. I’ve also had some time to go mountain biking with my dad and to get lunch with my friends. So I’ve been busy but I’ve still gotten to do some fun things.

I love my comp Elder Jones and my district! We get along super well and we laugh all the time. Shoutout to Maddie Hein for being best friends with Elder Baker who is in my district and is so awesome. It’s been so great that we’ve gotten to know each other online and now when we get to Brazil we’ll already be friends. 

Português! So cool yet so wack. Taking a bit of Spanish in high school and college has already helped a ton in understanding sentence structure and the concepts of conjugation and gender but everything about pronunciation is way different. Basically R’s are H’s and T’s are CH’s and DE is GE but only SOMETIMES. haha it’ll take a bit to get used to it but it’ll be fun. 

That’s about it from me. I’m leaving for Brazil in less than a week` where I’m gonna finish the rest of my training in the CTM in São Paulo. Goodbyes will be tough but I’m so excited to get immersed in the language and the culture. It’ll be such an adventure. 

ALSO general conference! What a time to be a missionary! It seemed like every talk was about missionary work! Got me super pumped!
