Transferência um
Opa gente,
Well i survived my first transfer (6 weeks) in the field! The last week flew by, but it's honestly kind of felt like an eternity. Luckily I'll be staying here in Três Pontas for my next transfer with Elder Braz so I'll get to keep teaching the same people.
Speaking of people, Cleiton is doing great! He came to church this week and it was awesome! He even participated in class! We gave him a priesthood blessing and fasted with him to help him quit smoking and he's staying strong! Keep praying for him cause he really wants to be baptized!
We have another pesquisador, Bejamin, on date to be baptized but unfortunately he got The Vid (COVID) so we'll have to wait on that one.
At church on sunday our branch president let me know 10 minutes before sacrament meeting that I would be giving a talk. Which is just about my worst fear ever so that was great. I planned to talk about one of President Nelson's talks, "We can do better and be better", about repentance. But unfortunately I had no notes or any kind of reference, so after a solid introduction and dropping three sentences of straight fire, my mind went completely blank. I ended up rambling something similar to the repentance section of lesson 3 of Preach My Gospel and got the heck out of there. But from this experience I have learned 2 important things. One, that it literally can't get worse than that so I have nothing to worry about now. And two, like my dad told me before, always have a backup talk.
Other than that things are still going well in Brasil love you all!

If you look left of me and right above the cathedral you will see a large building very far in the distance. This is the legendary Mart Minas. The beautiful north star that guides our investigators to the chapel. Where's our church? You know mart minas? Go there you'll see it on the way.
